Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A man has been arrested for being an accessory following the actual murder in connection to the death by shooting of Terrell Sims. Columbia Police Department officers were diligently searching for Sims who had been missing since Christmas, and arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with his death. According to authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) has been accused as a contributing factor to his death. Sims was 26 years old when he was that was last seen living in a house located on Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. According to police, his partner Wardlaw identified Sims as missing on the night of Dec. 22. A body was discovered in an area of a creek along Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford confirmed the body was owned by Sims. Skip Holbrook from Columbia Police reports that Wardlaw was arrested for the murder of Sims as well as possessing a weapon during a violent crime. The police say Sims was killed multiple times. The Columbia Police Department's first Tweet soliciting help from the community.
