Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was born to Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone is a gifted student in school as an infant, started her second-grade education at age five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. Also, Stone competed and won in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. The next step was Europe which she was to spend a year living within Milan, Paris and other cities. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe she decided to take up acting in Europe while she was there. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews in her 20s.
