Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor who rose to stardom on television when she was played by Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The show featured her debut releases as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. As she ended the decade, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to music from the country genre and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she began her acting career as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. Over the years she was on numerous shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer was later cast to portray Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until about half-way through the final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre, I Won't Let Go. It later appeared on her debut album Jana Kramer in mid-2012. It climbed to number 5 in the Billboard Top Country Albums. Kramer remained focused on her music career while still acting she acted in movies which enticed her fans, such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. Kramer dropped her second album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth position. Also, it was the year that she scored an adult-contemporary smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
